Absolutely (Story of a I am almost 70 years old and have always walked several miles each morning and/or evening and in recent years I do my walks on a 7-mile stretch of sandy beach. I have back, foot and knee problems for years and had been suffering more lately with pains in the feet up the legs and onto the back. My walks had been cut significantly due to lack of the right shoes and last few months when I walked around the house I had to use crutches or hold onto furniture as the PF was coming back and the pains in legs and back compounded my discomfort. Then my Sketchers slippers came. The foot pains (plantar fasciitis) left as soon as I started wearing them. Next, I donned the Asics 2160 sneakers (which came the same time) and headed out to the beach and they have risen to the occasion - except for a very little bit of knee pain (sometimes). I have been able to do my 3 mile walk at least 4-5 times a week and the Asics look as new as ever holding their shape completely. I hardly walk on the pavement as I am afraid of more joint trouble but shall take them around the block for a test and see what happens. I bought another pair of Asics at the same time but have not worn them yet.One thing I have noticed though they seem to be a little snugger than when I first started wearing them - I have not washed them yet so I do not think they shrunk or do not know if my feet are spreading from the slippers or what. I do not have any type of swelling in my feet so it is not that. However they were a little roomy so I am still okay, So far so good.I was pleased with the service.

Absolutely (Story of a I was excited when I read the reviews and description of this shoe. I ordered a pair hoping that I would be able to stand in them at work every day without the aches and pains that my leather pumps cause. When I opened the box, the chemical smell was overpowering. I had to turn my head away to get some fresh air. The fumes also made my eyes water. For some strange reason, I let the shoes "air out" a while and then tried them on. They were comfortable, but the smell was still overwhelming. I decided to let them air out a few days in hopes the smell would go away, but after 5 days out of the box, it's worse than ever! The smell is so strong, I am afraid it may even be dangerous. I have owned Anne Klein shoes and fashions before and have always been pleased with the quality. I am wondering if these shoes are "knock-offs" instead of the real thing. They could never be sold in a regular shoe store smelling as strong as they do.
